About Gena:
College--
Gena studied music at the prestigious Eastman School of Music and Florida State University with Frank Glazer and James Streem (piano), Charles Carter (band arranging,), Bob Stein and Bill Dobbins (Jazz piano), Samuel Adler, Joseph Schwantner, and Harold Schiffman (composition and orchestration). Courses included composition, film scoring, jazz arranging, jazz piano.
During 2010-2011, Gena has studied with Alla Kusnetsov of the Eastman Community Music School.
